Senior Assembly Class of '73 Brings Laughs May 31, the North Campus auditori- um was filled with the sounds of the junior and senior classes. Where else but at the Senior Assembly could the class of '73 satarize their favorite teachers. Approximately 50 seniors performed skits on stage. Emcees jim Evins and lim Forssell introduced the acts with help from some of the seniors portraying faculty. There were visits from Mr. Booth, Mrs. Fintel, Mrs. Tillett, Mr. Fortner, Mr. Mazzone, Mr. Robinson, and others. Musical skits added variety to the assembly. Solo performances were presented by the Fig Newton and the Chiquita Banana. Some of the skits consisted of take-offs on Mr. Berry, Mr. Choate, Coach Goodpaster, and Mrs. Bishop. The closing numbers included Gwen Walters reading james Weldon lohnson's poem The Creation and was followed with the senior class song That's the Way God Planned lt sung by Tracy Scott accompanied by all of the seniors. l0 Seniors sway to the beat of That's the way God planned it sung by Tracy Scott. Derek Pilger, Pat Mowry, and Clyde Redmond during their interviews of Coach use excerpts from various popular records Goodpaster and MHS wrestlers.
