Sharon Overton, a senior, clings to a School. She knows that she will soon be tree which is 3 part gf Manatee High leaving her high school after graduation. Seniors Seniors Fl Manatee Coop The class of '73 was on their way to a world full of excitement. As underclassmen, seniors remembered saying, Oh, how exciting it is going to be when I can go to college, earn my own living, and get away from my parents. It was a different story when the time came to be graduated. Seniors then realized a whole new world was about to begin. Many could not decide what college to go to or whether to go at all. Some did not know what they wanted to be or what courses they would take. Even though we have guidance counselors and advisers, they could not tell seniors everything they wanted to know. It was a big decision which seniors could not rush into and this decision had to be approached with an open mind. There was a big world out there and the class of '73 was ready to step into it june 9, 1973. Frank Poole and Tom Doyle look at the trophies of MHS and realize that they too will soon be a part of that past. 221
