Home Economics Department Bachelors Plan Their Meals Sewing, cooking, and cleaning were the principle skills taught in the Home Economics program. The enrollment included not only girls but also boys. Bachelor Survival, a class offered to senior males, taught all the essentials for living a bachelor's life. Each course was instructed at great depths for the benefit of the student, allowing them to achieve a better understanding of today's modern world.
