David Everson carefully studies the craftmanship of an old Smallman PT-17 aircraft. viation Seeks ild Blue Sky Planning and progressing were the ways Manatee's new Aviation Club went about their neophite year. Those students who were interested in aerodynamics and just wanted to learn about sky adventures, formed their group and headed for the wild, blue yonder. Getting together on Special En- richment Day, Aviation Club went over sky charts and aerial terms. At Manatee junior College, Avia- tion Club experienced being at the controls of an airplane, by using a demonstration cockpit called a Link Trainer. OFFICERS President ..................... james E. ,T ,, . .. Film Club Zoo Interests Camera Bugs Film Club was formed just for camera enthusiasts at Manatee High School. Their adviser, Mr. Anderson, worked along side the members to help them produce their first film. The group traveled to Tampa Zoo to photograph various animals. The filming of the animals' movements gave the students a chance to get acquainted with the use of an 8mm zoom camera. On Special Enrichment Days, Film Club viewed movies of professional filming techniques and editing which also advanced the ambitious photographers and their club.
