Home matches with Chamberlain, Plant, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Boca Ciega, and Clearwater were played at the water front Tennis Courts. Each sixth period members practiced with Coach Mable Clark and volunteer Coach Eugene Nolan to improve various game fundamentals. For each game the teams dressed in sparkling whites as they are for this picture. Below, Boys' Captain, Jay Boosinger and Girls' Captain, Carol Sue Shiplett pause for a drink of water with Miss Clark. This is the only sport on conference level that is open to girls.
