Hartley Blackburn, Superintendent of Public Instruction, while P. L. Keen, chapter president presents Yvonne with a gift certificate. Yvonne, a dark-haired senior, was selected from a bevy of eleven candidates, ten of which are pictured below. Front row, reading left to right are: Rixie Boelcee, Pat Hoops, Becky Robinson, Joyce Ernest, Alice Jo Miller. Back row: Letty Ann Lee, Yvonne Turbeville, Barbara Meyers, Kally Cajoleas, and Erma Clemons. Not pictured is Earlene Martin. This coronation followed the Future Farmers annual Father-Son Banquet held in the MCHS cafeteria. This banquet is one of several activities sponsored by the MCHS Future Farmers.
