Ft 55 TUDENT 0UNCll. Membership on the Student Council is one of the highest honors one can receive in MCHS. To belong to this council one must be elected by his homeroom at the start of the school year. Buying fans for the study hall and library has been the annual protect of the Student Council. Proceeds from several bake sales and the school store enabled the council to purchase these fans. Spearheading the sale of activity tickets and the March of Dimes Drive, and sponsoring the Concord Exchange dinner were three of their many protects. President Rufus lvloretz and voting delegates Bobby Burnett, Patti Lewis, and Susan Taylor represented MCHS at the state Student Council convention held in Orlando.
