Learnsng that Mr Bsshop A Oxenford would retsre thss year the sensor class unansmously chose to deds cate the yearbook to hsm Dursng Mr Oxenfords 35 years of teachsng at Manasquan he partscspated sn almost every actsvsty to be found sn the school Mr Oxenford had a deep snterest sn sports and assssted sn the coachsng of football basketball and track He was also advsser to the Hs Y whsch ss no longer a club at Manasquan The Gusdance Department at Manasquan was sn augurated by hsm and he was the gusdance counselor from T924 to 1940 He has been at one tsme or an other freshman sophomore sunsor and sensor advsser Dramatscs were another fseld sn whsch Mr Oxen ford took part He was the faculty dsrector for many sunsor and sensor plays and the freshman sophomore follses The school wsll always be sndebted to hsm for puttsng sn an audso speaker system whsch would have otherwsse cost the school much money had they em ployed an outssde fsrm to do the sob At present Mr Oxenford ss chasrman of the scsence department and advsser to the vssual asds club whsch serves not only the school system but the surround sng communstses as well Through thss dedscatson the sensor class says Thank you to Mr Oxenford for hss loyalty and MR BISHOP A OXENFORD many servsces to our school He has been snstrumental sn rasssng the standards of Manasquan Hsgh School to thesr present hsgh qualsty Mr Oxenford explasns the mechanscs of a motson pscture prosector to the student operators Sandy Whsttons Don Newman, Tom BUVY I - . , .
