SENIOR CLASS . TNIARJORY THOINIAS ...... President STANLEY TRUAX .... . . .Vice President EULALIA FREDRICKS . . . ....... Secretary JOSEPH EHRLENBACH . . ....... . . .Treasurer Advisers MRS. DOROTHY RANKIN MISS RIILDRED JULIUS MR. EDWARD EHRE MR. LEROY FISH MRS. MARTHA VVICKHANI Four yefars of numerous and varied functions sponsored by the Class of '37 under the friendly guidance of the able advisers, two of whom have left, Mrs. Irene Mauch because of illness and Miss Leda Karpinsky who went back to her home in Atlantic City, have come to the inevitable end. The Class of ,37 has been unusual in many ways. Scholastic honors were borne by Edna May Dixon, Florence Dixon, Ruth Knight, Charles Garrabrant, Earle Thompson, and Robert Moore. Victors in the Commercial field were Ruth Fowler, Vivian Warner, Ethel Cowell and Joseph Ehrlenbach. Musically, Edythe Preston, Ruth Knight, John Smith and Wellington Pierce, Vocally, and Elinor Yeterian, Eugene Cooper and Warren Stutts for orchestral activities deserve mention. Margaret Cox, Marjory Thomas, Edythe Preston and Archie Longstreet helped make Dramatics, a recognized feature of the many activities. Artistic exponents were Margaret Cox, Eleanor Holmes and lVIurvin Jones. Among the many contributors to Manasquan's athletic glory, Eulalia Fredericks, Eleanor Jackson and Vivian Warner were eminent among the girls. Leaders in all sports among the boys were Jack Hyde, Robert Clark, Hedley Anderson, Eugene Cooper, Robert Moore, Clyde Danskin, Joe La Vance, Melvin Woods, Joseph Wolf- ersberger, Phil Towne, Stanley Truax, Ray Lewis and Murvin Jones. In all social functions the class has been outstanding. The Junior play, "The Greedy Ones,', set a precedent of excellence which may well be followed by the under- classman. The Sophomore Hop and the Junior Prom were enthusiasticly received Social functions and the Washington Trip was the consummation of four years of work and play. We, of the Class of ,37, wish the best for all the undergraduates who will become lVIanasquan's future seniors. EDNA MAY DIXON, Historian Thirty-four
