Our Memories Will Never Be Forgotten We have now reach our final year. And looking back, the memories bring a tear. For all our days at Ole Man Fligh Flave gone so fast that they seem to have flown by. As we walk down the crowded halls together. We hope to keep these special friends forever. All our memories will be collected up and stored in our minds. And our thoughts of the future will eventually unwind. We started our 1981-82 school year in September. The year was to prepare us for our Graduation Day. a day we will keep and always remember. Our last three years have brought us many joys. Maturing, most of us. from childish girls and boys. But as we leave we must keep in mind this one thought. forgetting never. To set forth our goals, reach them. and cherish the memories of our high school days forever. Jennifer White

Philosophy Giving advice is at best risky. A person risks appearing more knowledgeable, more learned, and more wise than he really is. He may even risk appearing pompous. A cliche says. The best advice is no advice.” Keeping in mind these risks, a person must remember that his advice can come only out of his accumulated experience and from his present perspective. To each senior I will say that I have learned that one should attempt to maintain the idealism of his youth, but to temper it with reality: one should keep his aspirations high, but within the realm of possibility: and one should always strive for excellence, even in the smallest tasks; if one fails (and everyone does at times) he should never cease to try. It is important to seek truth and beauty everywhere, to love generally and specifically, to hope and never give in to despair, to have a sense of humor so as not to take oneself too seriously, and to cultivate a love of learning and a desire to know that will continue throughout one's life when many other assets have deserted one. Equally important is to act as wisely as possible on this knowledge. Finally, always remember that though one is only a small part of humanity, each person is a unique and sacred part, as is every other individual. Cultivate and preserve this individuality.
