Editors’ Reggie Osenlon As co-editor of the 1982 Man High School Yearbook. am grateful for the opportunity to work on this book. Sooner than we expect, our high school years will have flown by: and we will be leaving the friends with whom we have shared so many good and unfortunately bad times. The 1982 Yearbook Staff is proud to present this book that captures those special fleeting moments of our high school years to the student body of Man High School. We hope our efforts will keep fresh those moments that seem to fade so quickly as the years go by. Finally. I wish everyone the very best that life has to offer and hope that each will reach every goal that he attempts to accomplish. Comments It is my responsibility, as co-editor of the yearbook, to aid in producing a visual record of activities at Man High School for the 1981-82 school year. Developing this record of our senior year has been a challenging experience. It is my hope that in twenty or thirty years, when our memories of Man High are growing faint, we will be able to turn the pages of this pictorial history and remember how good the old days'' really were. I hope that seeing a picture of a long forgotten friend will give a renewed vividness to the memories of our high school years. Dedication We. the yearbook staff of 1982. would like to dedicate our yearbook to these two outstanding teachers. Mrs. Gretchen Donahue and Mrs. Linda Cline, both whom we admire dearly. Mrs. Gretchen Donahue after graduating from Man High in 1962. began teaching in 1967 after receiving an A.B. in Education Fields and Mathematics and Physical Education from Marshall University. While attending Marshall she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, and her senior year she was chosen as a Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities and a Senior Senator. She resides in South Man with her husband Mike, and her sons Jason and Brian. She is a member of the Bruce McDonald Memorial United Methodist Church where she is a Sunday School teacher. Presently she is the sponser of the Keywannettes and the newly formed Gamma Delta Pi. We. the senior class, would like to thank her for all the help and support she has given us during the past three years. Mrs. Linda Cline, after graduating from Man High School in 1956. she began teaching in 1970 after receiving a B.S. in Business Education. While at Concord she was a member of the sorority Delta Zeta. She resides at Combs Addition with her husband Gary, a math teacher at Man Junior High, her son Christopher and her daughter Erina. She is a member of St. Edmund Catholic Church in South Man where she is the organist. Presently she is a senior class sponser. We. the senior class, like to thank her for all the work she has done with us during the past three years. 3
