Text from Pages 1 - 136 of the 1974 volume:

LIFE AND ATHLETICS In the words of the immortal Greenbay Packer football coach, Vince Lombardi, “Winning might not be everything; it's the only thing.” Likewise, everyone should have a winning attitude in regard to life. We can do this by planning for the future, bv striving for excellence in both education and health, by displaying love for all mankind, and by trusting in God. Life is one of man's most im- portant assets; so enjoy it, for some day we will lose it. Wavne Bennett M a J 0 r e t . t e s C h e e r 1 e a d e r s Head—Mary Nester, L. to R. It keeps those special occasions a life-long memory. Without the help of so many, our 1974 yearbook would not have portraved our real feelings. This is why I feel it truly holds my yes- terday, today, and tomorrow. Vicky Sos Editor Remembering my high school life brings back wonderful memo- ries. This book will keep alive in our hearts the rememberances of the friendship and the scholastic and athletic achievements. Today we are setting an ultimate goal and tomorrow we will strive for a particular achievement in that field. This book will increase its worth to our lives as the years pass be- cause it holds the memories of our yesterdays, our activities of today, and our dreams of tomorrow. 16 Sharon Murray Co-Editor Bennett, Wayne A.B.
