Mr. Neely is a native of Fayette County. He attended East Bank High School and graduated from Montgomery High School in 1931. He then attended the West Virginia Institute of Technol- ogy from which he received his A.B. and B.S. de- grees. Mr. Neely holds an M.A. degree from the University of North Carolina. He also attended Duke University, the University of Michigan, Mich- igan State College, Wayne University and Marshall College. Mathematics and Science are his teaching fields. He taught from 1936 to 1941 at Kingston High and was principal of Ansted High from 1941 to 1949. Mr. Neely is a veteran of thirteen years teach- ing experience in West Virginia and comes to Man High School after serving as principal of the Ansted High School. 4
