SaLl, DL BaCU The Triadelphia District Band Boosters Club has been doing a wonderful job for our band. They have raised several thousand dollars for the purpose of buying new uniforms and in- struments, which become the property of the band Just recently, during August, 1949, under the direction of Mr. C. O. Erickson, the above refreshment stand was completed on the grounds of the football field, for the purpose of selling refreshments for the benefit of the band. This stand cost over a thousand dollars and it is be- lieved it will soon pay for itself, after which time the profits will go to the band. The band, under the direction of Mr. Earl Smith, is growing very rapidly, and made an ex- cellent rating at the Band Festival in Huntington last spring. 54 55 Q eorcje Eighth Grade—Played Junior High basketball and football Ninth Grade—Junior high basketball—all coun- ty tournament—regular on Senior High football— Varsity Club—president of ninth grade class.
