The office staff cheerfully carries out its diverse tasks. Their jobs include receiving innumerable phone calls, taking dictation, sorting mail, reminding deans of appointments and guiding visitors. They process transcripts for new students and colleges, keep files up-to-date, and preserve records of all MHS graduates. The custodial staff works together to serve the needs of MHS and keep the school clean. Working time is stag- gered, each man reporting at a different time and working for nine hours. Each is assigned to a certain number of classrooms a day, which he sweeps, waxes, and dusts, in addition to caring for blackboards. The staff is ready to help teachers and administration whenever needed. Fifteen women, all mothers or grandmothers of MHS students, combine their efforts to produce the meals for our lunches. Of the full-time workers, one each does all the baking, cooking, and managing salads and cold-plates, and sandwiches. Of the remainder, six do all preparation of vegetables, washing, and general kitchen workg two Work as cashiersg four wash dishes: and three do addi- tional necessary jobs. 7 1 l ' rim... 51.11 M1's.
