Mr. Burnham's main interest is his four sons, who fish, hike, and sail with him in Vermont. Originally an engineer, he decided to teach history and later work in guidance. Mr's. Gleason is a former' MHS student. She taught English here be- fore becoming a dean. The theater, opera, and crossword puzzles occupy much of her free time, as do golf' and swimming in the summer. Mr. Howell, a former MHS history teacher, finds his diversion in sports and music. He works with the students to further what he considers a main purpose of education: the development of responsibility and good citizen- ship.
