XVe olten take our educational system for granted. llowever. it is no mere Cl11lllCK.' that our education from kindergarten through twelfth grade has heen so com- plete and thorough. It is the concern of the Board of liducation that everything in the entire school district as it should. serving the community hy providing edu- cational opportunity for all. The mtn and women of the hoard take an active interest in what we do and how we do it. This year we are sorry that Nlr, Luther Nelson and Xlr. C. Frank Iohson are retiring from the hoard after serving faithfully lor the past six years. However. we wish to welcome Mr. Vito Luceno and Mr. Robert Duncan who will hll the vacancies thus created. VVe hope they will compile commendalwle records as did their predecessors. VVe are especially grateful to the hoard for the supf port they gave to the plan to recondition Manchester lfield. They have conscientiously directed the operation so that we may have the use ot' the new held as soon as possilile. Our thanks to a group ot puhlic spirited men and women who have given without stint ol their time and many talents to the end that the young folks of our com' munity may enioy unexcelled educational opportunities.
