HE class of 1947 may look back on its junior year with a great tleal of pritle. We have en- joyed a successful year in every respect. Many of our junior boys have participated in interscholastic athletics and have bolstered Mal- verneis football, basketball, wrestling, track, and baseball teams immeasurably. Bob Mealey cli- maxecl the year's athletic achievements when he won the county cross-country championship. Several of our members have been successful as members of the tlebate squad, and John Ingram placetl third in the county American Legion oratorical contest. Perhaps our greatest accomplishment was the impressive induction of twelve of our classmates into the National Senior Honor Society.
