Baseball Every school musl have ils lean years in ils various sporls. For lhe lasl lwo seasons Malvern has cerlainly seen lean limes in baseball. Two years ago we didn'l win a single game. So, ol course, we could go nowhere bul up. This season our lorlunes were beller, bul nol good enough lo malce us a conlender lor lhe lille. As a maller ol lacl, we ended lhe league in a lie wilh Cheslnul Hill lor lasl place. Wilh baseball every year arrives lhe schedule lor early buses. The lemplalion lor freedom nalurally over- comes many sludenls. especially lhe younger ones, and consequenlly lhe baseball leam receives a minimum ol supoorl. Bul lhis pasl campaign saw a slighl change lslighl, bul noliceablel in lhal lhe older sludenls, main- ly seniors, began lo slay regularly lo walch lhe games.
