Although seriously handicapped by lack of height, the Prepsters, under the inspired coaching of Mr. Stanley Jaworowski, gave the spectators many a thrilling moment, as they won or lost game after game by the slight margin of 1 or 2 points. Joe McArdle, an outstanding player and Franny Murphy, high scorer for the year with 'I77 points, co-captained the Blue- White hoopsters. Adding scoring punch to the squad were Joe Huver and Tom Collins with 168 and 126 points respectively. Under the baskets, centers Corcoran and Missett displayed excellent talent. 68

' Waxwrizfq Throughout the season our Jay Vee quintet exhibited lots of spirit, drive and scoring power. Led by co-captains Tom Fant and Joe Sharkey, the future varsity men chalked up six wins in eleven games, as they blended individual ability into smooth running team work. ln addition to the Jay Vees, the members of the 13-year-old and 14-year-old teams displayed the native ability, willingness to work, and interest in the sport that assure championship caliber teams in the future.
