HENRY J. SMITH, Jr. I00 Linden Ave. Riverton, N. J. Hank Hank , a three letter man, is the answer to the question What constitutes Malvern? , for everything Hank ever thought or did for four years was in a Malvern spirit. Be it on the grid- iron or in class, Hank distinguished himself as a leader. His name will be well-remembered at Malvern for the rest of its history, but the girls of V.M.A. will also treasure his striking image for years to come. Our friend will join the ranks of the Blues and Reds, who can be heard on the radio with a power- ful Hurrah, Pennsylvania , to study Business Administration. lllhumflq J.V. JAMES J. WALDRON, Jr. 207 W. Albenarle Ave. Lansdowne, Pa llJimIl Lansdowne claims Jim is one of its native sons. Having ioined the Friar's Lantern in his freshman year as a reporter, he has worked himself right up to the top spot, - Editor-in-Chief. When Jim is not attending to his duties of managing the Pie Shoppe, he is invariably talking with his friend Tom O'Brien. As the villain Humpy Grogan in the Spring musical, Jim de- monstrated not only his thespian ability but also his stamina and patience while being kicked and thrown around the stage. Jim has chosen medicine for his future profession. Junior Team Football 'I-2-3 'L Friar's Lantern 'l-2-3, Editor 4 Q Malvernian l-2-3-4 y Cap-n-Bonnet Players 4 C. Pie Shoppe 3-4 Cf! Ed was one of the lucky lads to explore Western Europe with Father Carney in the summer of 1950. His Honor Roll certificates speak for themselves, while his dramatic and vocal talents were spot- lighted in three Malvern musicals and one comedy.
