FRANCIS J. MYERS, Jr. 6912 Greenhill Rd. Philadelphia, Pa. 'uacw' Jack , with us since his Sophomore year, has made many triends with his likeable personality. Needless to say, his blond hair plus blue eyes have been quite a strong attraction to many girls. As a participant in track and swimming, and a respected thespian of the Cap-n-Bonnet Players, Jack made himself known in the extra-curricular circles of Malvern. St. Joe's College will harbor Jack's talents. f b.2 0 3 J.V. Win- ning letters in baseball and football, John has become one of Mr. Jaworowski's prize packages. The dull man on Monday mornings at the Waiter's Table intends to follow his chosen walk of life at Villanova. BYRNE MARHOEFER 155 Birch Ave. Winnetka, Ill. llBYrnell Snap! Flash! Pop! - These are the sounds dearest to Byrne's ear. As you probably guessed it, Byrne is the chief photographer of both the Friar's Lantern and the Malvernian . He certainly knows how to pop that flashgun . More often than not, his name appeared on the Honor Roll. Byrne's hobbies include, besides photography, radio, mechanics and building model airplanes. Come September, he will begin his study of En- gineering at Purdue. Keating's most original French students, has astounded many a Frenchman by his novel pronounciation of that language. Through hard work, he obtained for himself quite a reputation as an athlete, excelling in football and basketball. John is the proud owner of a new Ford, of which he takes admirable care. We are sure that John's personality will be a great asset to him at St. Joe's, which college he plans to attend come September. Junior Team Football I-2-3 Varsity Football 'I ' J. V. THOMAS O'BRIEN 3834 Albemarle Ave. Drexel Hill, Pa. 'foster Tom came to us from St. Charles' grammar school in his freshman year and started breaking records in mathematics at once. He astounded the school by his system of getting a maximum of high marks with a minimum of study, never having been off the gold honor roll in his four years' career at Malvern. In addition to his school work, Tom was a leader in activities, serving as Feature Editor of the Friar's Lantern. He showed great talent as one of Father Gilligan's stars in the Senior Play. Tom is also known as a lover of animals, particularly horses. He will complete his education by studying Chemical Engineering at Villanova. Junior Team Football I-2 Cap-n-Bonnet Players 4 K. Would you say that Denny was a city slicker? Say yes, and you'll find your- self milking a cow, by electricity, of course. Denny isn't only a nature boy, for the football team is losing a valuable tackle and the students a valuable friend. His favorite saying is take it easy, but we know that he studieshis books sincerely. His next stop is unknown to the Malvern Secret Police.
