FRANCIS J. HOWLEY l 460 Argyle Rd. Drexel Park, Pa. y Frank Frank left Drexel Park four years ago and arrived at Malvern on the 69th St. bus. Since his Junior year he has been one of the private car boys. He is noted for his horseback riding expeditions, which have caused more aches and pains than any other factor during his stay here. Frank is also famous far and wide for the questions he asks in Religion Class and for his excellent driving. Frank is undecided as to what he will take up after graduation. g 471135 lizfll i v-nfx Ai l ' 4-fsllxfj Z Ft Klau- FA ' Y' - V l- .3 2' L. , 1:ys,x'ff, it 'N Lx l y QNIIAN 2 . Chester Happy-go-lucky Norris rocketed into Malvern four years ago, and Father Gilligan hasn't had a peaceful moment ever since. Besides being one of the most active managers ever to hit Malvern, Norris succeeds in keeping his social life awhirl. Chester is a charter member of the Hot Rod Club, his grey Packard is a well-known menace to motorists all along the Main Line. He is also one of the most agile members of the track team. After his graduation from Malvern, Chester plans to study either at Princeton or Georgetown. Varsity Track 3-4 Varsity Football, manager 3 ., J. v. Football 1-2 4 ,Tc J. V. ROBERT A. HARTSOUGH 2217 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, Pa. Harts As a Student Councillor, Bob patrollled the upper corridor during his Senior year, woe to those who disregarded his orders! Although not one of those big toughs , Bob success- fully participated in football and track. His popularity was demonstrated by the fact that he was elected class officer more than once. Happy Bob intends to honor Villanova with his presence. gui' ilk fda tr,- b I J. V. Football 2-3 Varsity Football 4 5' J. V. Baseball 'I-2 t fj' ' Varsity Baseball 3-4 X? NPN? HAYDEN 436 Lombardi Rd. Drexel Park, Pa. lljoell Because his name appeared on almost every list of activities during his four year tenure at Malvern, Husky Joe certainly needs no introduction to Malvernians. Our iolly friend earned for himself a berth on the All-lnteracademic Football Team for his exseptional performance as guard. As Student Councillor he helped keep the day students in line. In deciding his choice of colleges, Joe has an eye toward Cornell or Notre Dame. J.V. Football 'I-2 ,sg Varsity Football 3, co-capt. 4 7, J. V. l FRANCIS K. KILLMOND 2740 Springfield Rd. Broomall, Pa. Frank Shorty Killmond, who made Malvern and Newton Square very proud of him by passing the N.R.O.T.C. exam, is now well on his way to becoming another John Paul Jones. Our pro- spective seaman played J. V. Football in Freshman year, circled the track as a Junior, and so skillfully managed the Varsity football team that he received a Varsity letter. His vocal talents swelled the chorus in last spring's musical Eileen , Frank's next stop will be Villanova, where he plans to study Commerce and Finance. J. V. Matt Matt, a Senior addition to the Class of '51, calls Hazelton his Home Sweet Home . The surrounding woods and lakes of that metropolis hold no secrets from Matt, who is a good huntsman and swimmer. As manager of the Varsity football squad and member of the swimming and track teams, he displayed his athletic abilities. Matt's math books reveal his artistic talent. Villanova's School of Commerce and Finance will keep him from his beloved homeland for the next four years. Varsity Swimming 4 6:3 Track 4 gl!
