DANIEL J. CHAMBERS 10 N. Darlington St. West Chester, Pa. llDanlI Dan , a West Chester lad, strode silently into Malvern in his Sophomore year. Although Dan's motto is Silence is golden , we would advise anyone eager to learn all about West Chester to get ready for a long . . . long conference. Our friend com- mutes to and from Malvern in his old De Soto. Dan expects to enter Art School after graduation. I Al, 1-,fl J.v. Football 2 K .l.V. Fred Fred returned from California to become once more a true Yankee . California hotrods are still a current topic with Fred day in, day out. The bathing beauties of Wildwood have no objection to Fred as a steadfast member of that resort's Beach Patrol. His newly-acquired green vehicle will take him any place on this continent. St. Joseph's College will probably be Fred's next Alma Mater. Junior Team Football 2 Varsity Football 3-4 J.V. Basketball 2-3 Track 2-3-4 Blue and White Club 3-4 S F I 'SQ Ki X .g f 40 1 CQ?

WILFRED BURKE Woodfield Farm Saddle River, N. J. Frenchy JAMES BOYLAN 'lit Franklin Ave. Staten lsland, N. Y lljimll Although at Malvern for only one year, 200 lbs. of Jim Boylan endeared himself to all students, especially those of V.M.A. A star in the Boarder's Basketball League, Jim was also known to his football opponents as the irresistible force. Acting ability he showed in Eileen , playing the dressed-up sergeant of Colonel Lester. If Uncle Sam doesn'1' invite him for a trip overseas, Jim will take up Marine Engineering at King's Point Maritime Academy. Frenchy , as he is popularly called, has been an ever popular member of our community since he stepped off the Liberte last year. ln spite of his lack of knowledge of American customs, he made quite a name for himself both on the grid- iron and in the classroom. Father Dennis puts his name on the Honor Roll without even consulting the records. Wilfred tells us that New York is quite a place for spending week-ends. WILLIAM R. CLINE 2401 winding Way Drexel Hill, Pa. Bill Bill , the Don Juan of Malvern, press agent for Drexel Park, swung his 120 lbs. about Malvern for 4x 180 days. His off- campus activities consisted mainly in escorting the beautiful lasses from the neighboring villas. Popularity is certainly not one of his weak points, for every time Bill turns around he acquires another friend. Our spectators can easily point him out in all of our maior sports. Bill plans to follow his Father's footsteps in the furniture business. f l I.v. Football 1-2-3 fy 4 5 -.f Varsity Football 4 X71 Varsity Basketball 1-2-3-4 ' ! J.V. Johnny Although John's home is very near the campus, he was never taken for a boarderp he left school at 1:30 sharp every day. During his first two years, John walked to school. To save time and waste gas, he bought a flashy De Soto in his Junior year. Now, John and his car are part of Malvern's tradition. On week-ends, Johnny works at the Acme Store in Paoli. We will probably see him managing the store some day. J.V. Baseball 1 1- is Junior Team Football 2 lx e l 9' Blue and White Club 3-4 1, 4. 5,4 I , 1 A xslt! dune I I ffl?-'P 41 Q LL!! ' W -li ,Eff
