661605 ay 1951 . . 5 Our preparatory school days are over. Now we, the Class of 1951, step from the ranks of the student body into those of the alumni of Malvern Prepara- tory School. This transition is an occasion for both ioy and sorrow, ioy, because it was the goal of our ambitions for four years, and sorrow, because it marks the end of the most happy and carefree days of our lives. For the past four years we have studied, played, and prayed together to make ourselves better men, and to uphold the traditions of Malvern. Now that we have reached the end of the road, we look back and see that we did at least a fairly good iob of it. Many of us were outstanding in studies, athletics, and leadership, and all, every one in his own way, tried to do something for Malvern. Our diploma is our treasured reward. During the course of our school days, Malvern has made great strides. This year for the first time, our Alma Mater participated fully in the extensive program of the Interacademic League. The enroll- ment of the school has greatly increased and, as we leave the familiar campus, we see new buildings rising among the old, the symbol of Malvern's progress. We do not pretend to be the cream of the crop, but we have tried hard to do our best and, for that, we hope Malvern will remember us. I LAWRENCE T. ADELBERGER 218 Lenain Ave. Wayne, Pa. llTedII Four years ago, Ted promoted himself to Malvern from St. Katherine's. Already in his second year, he became a constant member of the parking-lot club, at present, Ted rides up to Malvern in a shiny '49 Mercury. Each day as soon as he can get out of school, Addy can be found watering his orchids and cacti. If not called by Uncle Sam, he will follow his father's footsteps in the florist business. 1' ff' F l J. v. While the Pope is infallible only in faith and morals, Will claims to be in everything else. Fast on the track, as well as in conversation, he always has managed to come out ahead. Tampa, his steady companion, is a frequent topic on his Saturday night expeditions. Bill rode in style for his Senior year in a 1950 Plymouth Suburban .
