It encourages students to attain a better mastery of language, to develop poise and self-control and to appreciate dramatic literature and its techniques. The motto is Act well your partg there all the honor lies. The colors are blue and gold. Admission to this organization is gained by earning points. These points are earned by work- ing on plays and other dramatic work. The local officers are as follows: President Judy Keeley, Vice President Wanda Norton, Secretary Butch Green, Treasurer Jan Halbert, Reporter Kenny Lindvall, and Sponsor Mr. Hower ton. ' K , The Marching Leopards form the tradi- tional M L at all football games to help boost the team to victory. In early December the band begins prac- ticing for concert season. They are also active at clinics, festivals, and parades. Last year this organization was well rep- resented in the All-State Band and they hope to be again this year. At the close of the school year an awards concert is given.
