Prophecy Just think, ten long years have rolled by since I graduated from good, old Malvern High, and I haven't heard from any of my classmates. I'll just hop into my new Cadillac and take a spin to find out what has happened to them. Soon I'll in the meter, and walk down the Poor Irene is searching for Jim reach dear old Malvern, park my car, put a nickel street. The first person I meet is Irene Gween. She says she has quite a time keeping him at home he's married now. She told me the latest gossip, gave up his medical career to be President of the Bernice keeping hurried on my way. It seems he keeps forgetting all about George Brothers, who United States. And, I guess, is out of a job because she used to be his nurse, but she is pretty busy house for Harvey so she doesn't mind. Well, Irene and I parted and I Next I met Betty Narkino and she told me she'was a criminal lawyer in New York. It seemsgthat Dave Casper was in a little trouble so she came to defend him. She also told me that Helen Facchini was her private secretary. I guess she made it after all, Vr. Furey. Jean Lovv and Bonnie Williams cou1dn't bear to part so they made their husbands KYS build houses side by side. I could hard- ly say good-bye to Betty, but I decided that I must continue. As I was looking over the old town, I noticed a large department store with a sign that read: Dennis' Fashion Shoppe, so I decided to see if there was any- thing I needed. As I entered the store I met Rebecca Oliver buying baby clothes. I guess she finally got Sam to marry her. She said she would get him in leap year. Rebecca told me that Loretta-gay had married Chuck and, also, that Loretta owned a beauty parlor where Rosemary Gram comes in and gets her hair fixed and tells her all the latest gossip. Rosemary is also married to the boy the yellow convertible. Lillian Pearson married Jim Thorpe and lives Lillian has a daughter and they tell me she giggles just like Lillian who owns in Canton. used to. Well, I told her I was glad to have seen her and went on my way. Walking down the street, I saw someone who looked very familiar. other than Jason Ludy. Hurriedly I ran up to him It was none and I was slightly amazed at what I saw. You never saw such fine clothes in your life! But after he told me he was a representative in Washington, I understood the situation more clearly. Before I left Jason, I asked him about Stewart Unkefer and Dave Berry. Stewart and Joanne are living in Wisconsin with Dave and Jane. I guess they are in part- nership in a Dairy Plant. Jane and Joanne are really living now! It was all I could do to leave Jason, but I managed. As I walked on, I met Elisabeth-Egmggg fwhom we know as Betty? and she in- formed me that she was singing in the Metropolitan Opera. She is still looking for the prospective millionaire. She also said that on her tour through Florida she stopped in to see Dori-139 Meter. Dori finally caught her third baseman. The biggest surprise of all came last. She told me that Rosie Gslay was candi- date for Sec. of Treas. Well, Rosie finally got her hands on the mint. After the shock was over, I bade her farewell. I had just walked on a few steps when I was stopped by the queerest noise I had ever heard. It was none other than Wddie Roach. I stopped and talked with him for awhile and he told me that he owned his own garage now. He said he was pretty busy making enough money to keep Carol comfortable. I didn't have much time, so, I hurried on my way. A short distance up the street I sew a large crowd gathered in front of a church. It wasggda-Hgysgme and Janice Griffin causing all the commotion C you might know D. They had just been married. Imagine! A double wedding! Janice finally got her Turkey and Ada - well, she married James Frazier, one of our classmates who left us when we were In grade school. will wonders never cease?
