M O S T P 0 P U L A R G I R L A N D B O Y Nancy Stires, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Stires, and Carlan Walters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walters, are honored as Malvern High Schoo1's most popular girl and boy of 1949. Nancy and Carlan were accorded this honor as a result of an election held by the staff of the 49'er. Each student purchasing an ANNUAL before March 7, 1949 was entitled to vote in the popularity contest. Both Nancy and Carlan are me bers of the class of 1949 and have been pr minent in school and class activities. 28
