Grumbler Grumbles continued: We begin our typing and erasing, but of course, before this we must have our daily five minute period of chattering before class and when the teacher finally stops us about ten minutes of class is gone. We, of course, get a lecture on how to conduct ourselves in school, which should definitely DOI happen to a senior. Finally that bell rings and we are plowing toward our next classes. We enter now public speaking class, of which we approve because we can talk. But our one gripe against this is that we have to get up in front of the class to do it. Then comes the time which strikes joy to our hearts because it is only one hour until four o'clock and freedom. Now comes the time when some of us leave school for T St I and others straggle to the library or various classes and wait until that little buzzer brings four o'clock. Some sit at the nearing moments poised like a cat for the spring Waiting until they can make a mad dash for that door When the buzzer does finally sound they are so stupified that they can t move and some lower classman beats them to the punch Something of which shouldn t happen to a senior But we finally struggle out for Harry s or home the place to go when you are broke Now that you have seen the senior s life in words I hope you ll excuse me if I sit down because my feet and jaw muscles ache from this trying hardship of standing before you Our only hope IS that you ll be a little easier on the coming seniors by LOUIS MILLER CLASS SONG Nevertheless Maybe we re right and maybe we re wrong But still we are glad our school days are gone We nevertheless hate to leave you now We ll have to go and we ll miss you so As we go through our years our Joys and our tears But nevertheless we love Malta High To our dear friends and our teachers we ll miss you so Cause we re leaving All of the toils we leave. with a heart that is grieving Maybc we ll live a life of regret and maybe we ll give much more than we get, CLASS SYMBOLS CLASS FLOWER White Rose CLASS SONG Nevertheless CLASS MOTTO Make the best better CLASS COLORS Blue and Silver But nevertheless Malta High Good-Bye.
