STUDENT COUNCIL Throughout this year the Stu- dent Council worked hard to bring to the student body of Malta Bend R-5 dances, atten- dance movies, the Christmas- volleyball games, and the cinna- mon roll bake days. We held a bonfire to kick off the 1986-87 basketball season. During the week of Courtwar- ming, we sponsored a Sweet- heart King Contest. Clark Dri- skell was sashed king. His at- tendants were Kevin Rogers, Michael Varner, Ross Dowell, Mitch Thompson, and John Roll. This year's Annual Awards Banquet and Community Dinner was held on May 19th. The speaker for the evening was Mr. Denny Fox, Missouri Valley Col- lege Head Coach. The elections rounded out the year.
