SIXTH GRADE Billy Arnold Walden Chevalier Donnie Crutchfield Chris Frakes Larry Holland Kenny Hollon Katherine Kersten Leslie Malter ABOVE: Leslie Malter holding Mrs. King’s ferret. The Sixth Grade had a busy year with the birds and the bees in the room. They adopted the class song of Zippity- Do-Dah! Chinese food, Italian food, slides of Japan, China, and Finland helped make Social Studies more interesting. Areas of circles, triangles, and poly- gons were the most difficult in math. Research papers were at- tempted for the first time in language with very surprising results. A trip to Whiteman Air Force Base ended the year with several new discoveries being made about the U.S. Air Force and the way of life followed by some military personnel.
