Along with providing 0PP0rtunities for developing a greater sense of personal TeSDOns1bility and fostering among the members friendship, happiness, and loyalty to the college, the club establishes and administers a dramatic program including all phases of drama. SCHOOL SPIRIT Again this year Malone's basketball team was upepped up by the Malone Pep Band. Under the direction of Mrs. Kaye Leach, the band has proved a great asset to the extra- curricular program by adding lively music and spirit to all the home games. No Malone basketball game would be complete without the strains of the Pep Band to stimulate and maintain interest amoung the students. To help the Pep Band promote and encourage more en- thusiasm at the sporting events held during the college year is the Pep Club. One way this is done is at the pep assem- blies sponsored by the club, which inspire the student body, athletic teams, and coaches.
