The 1966-1967 Pioneer varsity basketball season was a build- ing year for Coach Tom Morgan and his forces, a steping stone to better things in the coming season. After two successive wins, the team lost nine in a row before rebounding to finish the season with a 7-17 record, High points of the season were a homecoming victory, an impressive performance at the Malone Invitational Tournament, and a final-second win over Cedarville in a MOC tilt. Senior Don Andres, leading scorer with an average of 17.9 points per game, was selected to the Mid-Ohio Conference team, Iohn Flad, to the second team. Team members, as well as fans, missed the great scoring ability of Dave Fross, who was unable to play due to a leg injury. Go Malone Go! Our Pioneers warm up.
