The purpose of the week was to acquaint freshmen with college life. In October the annual Halloween Party, held at Pine Hill in Minerva, was highlighted by the arrival of the Great Pumpkin. The climax of the year came when the class won the college Spirit Trophy. Homecoming events, Christmas decorations and Pioneer Day participation all aided in accumulating points.
