I 6 PATRICIA J. GIBBONS 12 Hurlburt Court College Teacher Trish has been a majorette for two years, and the Secretary of the Band one year. A two-year mem- ber of USONA, she was elected Treasurer. As a homeroom repre- sentative for two years, Trish helped on the committees for Carousel , Noel , and Shuffle WILFRED GILES 12 Winter Ave. General U. S. NavY A member of E.Y.C. for .three years, Fred served as Chaplain be' fore being elected President. After school hours he is employed at Davenport Drugstore. In his free time Fred plays folk music on his guitar or listens to music by PCICI, Paul, and Mary. LORRAINE L. GEER 182 Sammett St. General Undecided A former member of the Baron Drum Corps for three years, Lor- raine also participated in a bowling league for one year. Lorraine is employed as a typist at Malden Action after school hours, and for relaxation she listens to record albums by Elvis Presley. CAROLYN GIES 16 Fairmont Street College Teacher A typist for the Maldonian, Caro- lyn was also head librarian as- sistant in her Junior year. She helped on the decoration com- mittee for Carousel , and has participated in USONA for two years. Carolyn also works as a Candy Striper at the Malden Hos- pital. JOAN P. GILLEN 191 Beltran Street Commercial Secretary A three-year member of Kappa Phi, Joan was elected Secretary. Her favorite pastimes are horse- back riding and basketball. A member of Pep Club for three years, Joan attended all the foot- ball games. In her free time she listens to The Tijuana Brass. WILLIAM GEISSLER 288 Broadway College Chemistry Teacher Giz is a Co-Editor of the 1967 Blue and Gold. He was co-chair- man of OZ and a co-chairman of the magazine drive for soldiers in Vietnam. An honor roll student and a member of COG, Giz tutors at the Cooper Community Center in Roxbury on Saturdays. ALAN W. GERSHFIELD 115 Harvard Street College Politics A co-editor and homeroom repre- sentative of Lion for two years, Hi Life is Historian for the Alpha Mu Alpha Fraternity. His- tory and English are his favorite subiects, but outside of school Hi Life is interested in politics and creative writing. 5 H CHRISTINE GIGLIO 242 Pearl Street Commercial Secretary A one-year member of the Mac- Dowell Girls' Concert Choir, Chris keeps active by bowling. She at- tends the MHS football games when she isn't working at Leche- mere Sales. In her free time Chris enjoys studying English, or listen- ing to her favorite music. JEAN GINGRAS 9 Highland Park College Teacher A three-year member of the Girls' basketball team, Jean received a varsity letter. She also participated on the softball team, and was a member of A.D.A. Sorority. Jean performed in Channel '68 and served on the dance committee for Yesterday's Gone. EDWARD C. GIGLIO 19 Cleveland St. Voke Undecided Racing, water skiing, and baseball rate high with Eddie. He worked on Carousel , the Senior Proms in 1966 and in 1967, and the Valentine Dance in his Sophomore and Junior years. Eddie has a iob after school and on weekends at Mercurio Electric. JOAN GINGRAS 9 Highland Park Commercial Secretary Joan was a typist for the Blue and Gold in her Junior year. She has received a letter on the girls' tennis team for three years, and has been a member of the Girls' Concert Choir. Joan belongs to Alpha Delta Alpha, and she was active in Channel '68.

RONALD A. FRANKLIN 17 Bayrd Terrace College Engineer Musically inclined, Ronny was a member of the Choral Art Society, Chamber Singers, and the MHS Orchestra. A two-year member of the outdoor track team Ronny was also Secretary of Alpha Mu Alpha Fraternity. After school he works at Boyd's. Inc. MARGARET E. FYLER 39 Webber St. Commercial Stewardess A Malden High majorette for two years and a member of the Band, Peggy is a three-year member of the Rainbow Girls. After school, Peggv works at Filene's Depart- ment Store as a sales girl. Foot- ball, roller skating, and drag car racing are among her favorite sports. FRED W. GARLICK 9 Richer Street College Oceanographer Winning the Auxilium Latinum Award in his Sophomore and Junior years, Fred was a two- year COG member. He was on the indoor track team, and represented his homeroom on the Sophomore and Junior Councils. Fred took charge of the curtains in Chan- nel '68 . BARBARA A. FRAUTON 213 Mountain Ave. Commercial Secretary An avid sports fan, Barb enjoys swimming and bowling through- out the year. A former employee at the International Magazine Service, she spends her spare time dancing and listening to her records by The Temptations. Barb likes to relax with a good book. MAUREEN A. GALLAGHER 200 Beltran St. College Teacher President of the Pep Club and a three-year member of K'appa Phi Sorority, Maureen was a member of French Honor and CAM. Maureen won the Pro Marksman award in riflery. Winning the Auxilium Latinum award for two years, she was a member of Latin Honor. EDWARD M. GARRANT 7 Pine Street College Teacher A three-letterman, Eddie was the Captain of the MHS tennis team. In the summer, he worked as a park instructor and relaxed to records by The Mama's and Papa's. An active member of the Y.M.C.A., Eddie participated in football, swimming, and baseball. JOHN E. FRENCH 2 Summit Terrace College Undecided A letterman of the Malden High School swimming team, Buck was an M.D.C. lifeguard during the summer. In his sophomore year, Buck was a cheerleader for the WMEX basketball game. Golf, football, and basketball are some of his favorite athletic activities. JEANNE FROIO 31 Arch St. Commercial Legal Secretary Secretary of the Class of '68, Jeanne was also an active member of the Pep Club and the Rifle Club. An enthusiastic sports fan, Jeanne was a Vocational High cheerleader. During her free after- noons, she likes to listen to the records of Roy Orbison. PATRICIA M. GALVIN 42 Plainfield Ave. Commercial Secretary Pat, a member of Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority, was a guard for the Catholic Youth Organization basketball team. As a horse lover, Pat collects miniature horses and pictures of them. English being her favorite subject, she likes to relax with a good book. RITA M. GAUTREAU 8 Holyoke Street Dist. Ed. Secretary A winner of two letters in field hockey, Rita also plays softball and basketball. She collects coins in her free time, and in school chooses Bookkeeping and Math as her best subjects. During summer vacation, Rita goes swimming and horseback riding. DIANE E. GARDINER 107 Linden Ave. Commercial Model A two-year member of the Episco- pal Young Churchmen, Dee was elected Vice-President during her second year. Dee also achieved the Operation Kindness award for two years. In the summer she works as a camp counselor, and spends her extra time babysitting. PAUL L. GAVAGAN 29 Auburn St. General Teacher Mechanically inclined Gav works on cars as a hobby, and is em- ployed at the A811 Grocery mar- ket after school. An active member of the Somerville Y.M.C.A., he also relaxes to records by Al I-Iirt and Trini Lopez. Business Math is Gav's favorite subject.

DAVID F. GINIVAN, JR. 17 Horace Street Commercial Stenographer A recipient of two letters for the cross country team, Dave was elected Co-Captain. He also re- ceived letters for indoor track, out- door track, and the swimming team. Dave was chairman of the Junior class outing of 1967 and performed in Channel '6S. MURRAY L. GLICK 147 Cross St. College Auto Dealer As an honor roll student, Murray was awarded two honor emblems. Murray devotes much of his time to A.Z.A. Serving as Secretary for one and a half years, he was then elected President. He also plays the position of catcher on the A.Z.A. softball team. ANN L. GOLDMAN 129 Kimball Sr. College Undecided A member of the French Honor Society, Pep Club, and MacDowell, Ann also served on the Maldorziarz staff for one year. Outside of school, Ann worked as a volunteer tutor at Cooper Center in Rox- bury, and was a three-year mem- ber of Tifty. ROBERTA GINSBERG 115 Wytuming Ave. General Bookkeeping An avid fan of stock car racing, Bobbie enjoys popular and folk music. She is very enthusiastic about sports, as she attends most of Malden High's football and basketball games. After school hours Bobbie is a data processor at the Federal Reserve Bank. OLGA GLIKAS 46 Prosper Street Commercial Data Processing As a hard-working library assist- ant, Olga is also a three-year mem- ber of both Choral Art and Chamber Singers. She worked on the Welfare Committee for three years, and is a member of the Rainbow Girls. Olga was also a recipient of the Crisco Award. JOHN M. GLANCY 79 Coleman Street College Architect Jackie has been a member of the Band for three years, the Rifle Club and Ski Club for two years, and the indoor track team for one year. Outside of school, Jackie is active in the 2'th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps and also CYO. He also likes to ski and swim. '1 1 a- L .ka or mi.....,..g: , JOHN C. GOFFREDO 91 Elwell Street General U. S. Air Force In the afternoons Johnny is a hard worker at Lewis Candy Company. Being sports-minded, he is a spec- tator at many Malden High School football and baseball games. Any free time he has Johnny devotes to working on cars or Math, his favorite subject. JOHN P. GLENNON 20 Linwood Street College College J.G., a one-year member of the Y.M.C.A., attends the Boston Bruins and the Patriots games. Collecting racing cars and records of his favorite group, Sam and Dave, takes much of J.G.'s time. After school, he works at Stella's as a cashier. ax E5 . MARIE V. GOFFREDO 91 Elwell Street General Beautician Guffy was an energetic member of the Pep Club in her Sophomore year. An accomplished seamstress, she creates many of her own clothes. When not working as a waitress at the Shrimp Boat, Guffy enioys listening to her favorite group, The Four Seasons. l QUEEN OF THE GOLDEN TORNADO AND COURT.
