Dur- ing his Sophomore year he was a cheerleader for the WMEX Basketball Game. Danny's main interests include coin and stamp collecting and playing the dnims. GERALD S. FITZPATRICK 38 Beltran Street College Undecided A French and Latin Honor stu- dent, and a member of LIT, Fitz won two Auxilium awards. Re- ceiving a letter in swimming, Fitz also belongs to the outdoor track team. Fitz represented his home- room on the Sophomore Council and was the temporary Treasurer. KATHLEEN A. FOLEY 226 Clifton Street Commercial Airline Hostess A member of ADA Sorority and the F.B.I...A., Kathy was on the Blue and Gold circulation staff for two years. In her Sophomore year, Kathy was in the Pep Club and the MacDowell Choir. An avid tennis fan, she played on the tennis team in her Junior year. DONNA M. FITZGERALD 81 Medford St. Commercial Data-Processing Dimples is a member of the Girls' Concert Choir and a repre- sentative in the box lunch pro- gram. Employed after school as a secretary at the fire station, Dimples worked in the Mayor's oliice during the summer. In her leisure time, she travels and sings. CAROL A. FLORENTINO 17 Hancock Street College Teacher An active member of the Choral Art Society and a four-year mem- ber of Rainbow Girls, Carol won an Auxilium Latinum award in her Sophomore and Junior years. After school, Carol works at the Royal Cleaners. She names Eng- lish as her favorite subiect. LESLEY A. FOLEY 217 Olivet Street Commercial Secretary A booster of the Pep Club, Les was also a member of St. ,Ioseph's CYO. Swimming and skiing are among Les's favorite sports. After school she works as a secretary at the Mirror Glaze Distributors, Inc., and relaxes to records by The Association. ANN M. FITZPATRICK 9 Lyle Terrace Commercial Secretary Fitzy, a one-year member of the Pep Club and a three-year mem- ber of the Concert Choir, enioys dancing and bowling. She has worked hard for her class as she helped on the Carousel and Pep Club dance committees. Fitzy fre- quently spends her time horseback riding. MAURICE R. FLYNN, III 37 East Border Road College Lawyer President of the class of '68, Moe is also a three-year member of COG. In the summer, Moe worked at the Eastern Middlesex Court House. An active member of the indoor track team, Moe played on the Junior Varsity basketball team in his Sophomore year. BETTY JANE FORBES 575 Salem Street College Key Punch Operator A three-year member of the Choral Art Society, Betty Jane won an Auxilium Latinum Award in her Junior year. After being a candy striper at the Malden Hospital for three years, she became a ward aide. Betty Jane relaxes to the music of The Four Tops. ANN M. FITZPATRICK 26 Dennis Rd. Commercial Hairdresser A two-year bowling league mem- ber at the Towne Line Bowling Alley, Fitzy is employed there part- time as a waitress. When not participating in her favorite activi- ties of baseball, football, and ice skating, Fitzy relaxes to the rhythm of The Temptations. THOMAS E. FLYNN 48 High Rock Road College Undecided In his Sophomore year, Tom played as shortstop on the baseball team. As center and captain of the hockey team, Tom won two letters and was presented with a plaque for sportsmanship by the cheer- leaders. As a council member, he helped on the Viet Nam drive. NANCY J. FORD 226 Oliver Street General I.B.M. In her Sophomore year, Nancy was a member of the decoration com- mittee for Carousel . A sports enthusiast, Nancy is active in swimming, horseback riding, water skiing. and football. After school she is employed at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston.

LYNN M. FARRAHER 17 Beltran Terrace Commercial Airline Stewardess In her Sophomore year, Bobbie belonged to the MacDowell Con- cert Choir. Her leisure hours are spent horseback riding, swimming, and playing tennis. Math and Typ- ing are Bobbie's favorite subjects. After school she works at the Malden Lumber Company. PRISCILLA A. FENTON 306 Washington Street College X-ray Technician A three-year member of Pep Club and Tri-Hi, Pennie spends her spare time listening to the music of the Beach Boys. Skiing is just one of the many sports in which Pennie participates. Her future plans include college and becom- ing an X-ray Technician. MELODY L. FAY 111 Glen St. Commercial Secretary A three-year member of the Girls' Concert Choir, Mel belonged to the Rifle Club for two years. The Queen of the 1967 Vocational Valentine Dance, she spends time reading, swimming and ice skat- ing. Mel's favorite subjects are Stenography and English. KAREN FERGUSON 32 Clyde St. College Teacher After being an eager member of the Pep Club, Karen was accepted for the MHS cheerleading squad. Her enthusiasm in cheerleading gained her two letters. Karen doesn't find any time to waste as she is an active member of USONA and Kappa Phi Sorority. STEPHEN A. FEWTRELL 26 Seery St. College Engineer As a three-year member of the Malden High School wrestling team, Steve won a varsity letter. Steve also belonged to the outdoor track team for one year, the cross country team, and the Y.M.C.A. One of Steve's favorite pastimes is collecting records. STEVEN FIELDING 20 Hyde St. Voke Undecided Steve is an active member in both the Y.M.C.A. and the N.E. Ama- teur Athletic Union. During the summer, Steve goes water-skiing and swimming. He showed his ability in electrical work when he helped with the Valentine Dance and other high school dances. PETER R. FELDMAN 50 Prosper Street College College Pete, the recipient of a J.V. letter in wrestling, was a member of the Rifle Club in his Sophomore year. Besides working at Clark's Drug Store, he helps his family raise basset hounds. Coin collecting and baseball occupy most of Pete's spare time. JANET P. FERNANDES 40 Plainfield Avenue Commercial Secretary For two years, Janet represented her homeroom on the Junior and Senior student councils. Athletic Janet was a member of both the Pep Club and the rifle team in her Sophomore year. She served on the dance committees for Yesterday's Gone and Noel. LINDA J. FIGELSKI 34 Cedar St. College Teacher Backing up the Vocational High football and basketball teams as a cheerleader, Linda is also a three-year member of Pep Club. Linda's other activities include the Blue and Gold typing staff, Future Teacher's of America Club, and Kappa Phi Sorority. STEVEN W. FELMAN 135 Cross Street College Chemist Steve, a three-year member of COG, belonged to the French Honor Society for two years and German Honor for three years. A fan of baseball, he also served as an usher at football games. Coin collecting and Science engage most of Steve's leisure hours. JOHN FERRO 149 Oakland St. General Computer-Programming As a sports enthusiast, Jay Jay played on the MHS hockey team as a right wing during his Sopho- more and Junior years. For a hobby, Jay Jay builds radios and electronic equipment. After school, he spends his time working at Kennedy's Butter Sc Egg Com- pany. STEVEN G. FISH 17 Fremont Street General Professional Baseball Participating as a guard on the football team for two years, Steve received a letter in his Junior year. When not practicing for the team, he collects records and model cars. To rest from all these activities, Steve listens to the music of The Beatles.

FYLER 39 Webber St. Commercial Stewardess A Malden High majorette for two years and a member of the Band, Peggy is a three-year member of the Rainbow Girls. After school, Peggv works at Filene's Depart- ment Store as a sales girl. Foot- ball, roller skating, and drag car racing are among her favorite sports. FRED W. GARLICK 9 Richer Street College Oceanographer Winning the Auxilium Latinum Award in his Sophomore and Junior years, Fred was a two- year COG member. He was on the indoor track team, and represented his homeroom on the Sophomore and Junior Councils. Fred took charge of the curtains in Chan- nel '68 . BARBARA A. FRAUTON 213 Mountain Ave. Commercial Secretary An avid sports fan, Barb enjoys swimming and bowling through- out the year. A former employee at the International Magazine Service, she spends her spare time dancing and listening to her records by The Temptations. Barb likes to relax with a good book. MAUREEN A. GALLAGHER 200 Beltran St. College Teacher President of the Pep Club and a three-year member of K'appa Phi Sorority, Maureen was a member of French Honor and CAM. Maureen won the Pro Marksman award in riflery. Winning the Auxilium Latinum award for two years, she was a member of Latin Honor. EDWARD M. GARRANT 7 Pine Street College Teacher A three-letterman, Eddie was the Captain of the MHS tennis team. In the summer, he worked as a park instructor and relaxed to records by The Mama's and Papa's. An active member of the Y.M.C.A., Eddie participated in football, swimming, and baseball. JOHN E. FRENCH 2 Summit Terrace College Undecided A letterman of the Malden High School swimming team, Buck was an M.D.C. lifeguard during the summer. In his sophomore year, Buck was a cheerleader for the WMEX basketball game. Golf, football, and basketball are some of his favorite athletic activities. JEANNE FROIO 31 Arch St. Commercial Legal Secretary Secretary of the Class of '68, Jeanne was also an active member of the Pep Club and the Rifle Club. An enthusiastic sports fan, Jeanne was a Vocational High cheerleader. During her free after- noons, she likes to listen to the records of Roy Orbison. PATRICIA M. GALVIN 42 Plainfield Ave. Commercial Secretary Pat, a member of Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority, was a guard for the Catholic Youth Organization basketball team. As a horse lover, Pat collects miniature horses and pictures of them. English being her favorite subject, she likes to relax with a good book. RITA M. GAUTREAU 8 Holyoke Street Dist. Ed. Secretary A winner of two letters in field hockey, Rita also plays softball and basketball. She collects coins in her free time, and in school chooses Bookkeeping and Math as her best subjects. During summer vacation, Rita goes swimming and horseback riding. DIANE E. GARDINER 107 Linden Ave. Commercial Model A two-year member of the Episco- pal Young Churchmen, Dee was elected Vice-President during her second year. Dee also achieved the Operation Kindness award for two years. In the summer she works as a camp counselor, and spends her extra time babysitting. PAUL L. GAVAGAN 29 Auburn St. General Teacher Mechanically inclined Gav works on cars as a hobby, and is em- ployed at the A811 Grocery mar- ket after school. An active member of the Somerville Y.M.C.A., he also relaxes to records by Al I-Iirt and Trini Lopez. Business Math is Gav's favorite subject.
