Class of I 968 JANICE M. DiFILIPO 156 Sylvan Street College Teacher An Associate Editor of the Blue and Gold, ,Ian is also a member of FTA. She is the Assistant Treasurer of Ecce Signum and a three-year member of CAM. Jan also participates in the French Honor Society, and after school she plays tennis or waterskis. NOREEN DORAZIO 111 Oakland St. Commercial Secretary Nor keeps active throughout the year by swimming and ice skating. When not earning money baby- sitting, she reads and collects magazines about movie stars. After studying Shorthand and Typing, Nor relaxes to the music of Lesley Gore and Johnny Mathis. LEONE R. DiBLASIO 1245 Fellsway Commercial Accountant Co-chairman of Carousel and a WMEX cheerleader, Leo was on the committees for all Sophomore events. Leo volunteers his time to the Boston Association for Re- tarded Children, and is also a mem- ber of the Tom Dooley League, a 'service organization. JOANNE DiSCIULLO 64 Glen St. Commercial Secretary Jo, a member of the Pep Club for two years, is a faithful follower of the Golden Tornadoes. Her acute interest in Shorthand and Typing is proven by her ambition to be a commercial secretary. Swimming, horseback riding, and dancing are rated high by Jo. ANN M. DOUCETTE 205 Salem St. General I.B.M. operator An enthusiastic member of the Pep Club for two years, Annie attends all of the Malden High School football games. Dancing and listening to records by Connie Francis is a favorite pastime of Annie's. Her best-liked subjects include French and Typing. MICHAEL J. DiCESARE 295 Pearl St. General Undecided A five-year member of the Y.M.C.A., Mike is a swimming instructor for the Wakeheld Chap- ter. He is a fan of The Beach Boys, and has a large collection of their records. Mike spends his free afternoons playing football and riding his motorcycle. ROBERT J. DONAHUE 1460 Salem Street Commercial Undecided Lloyd , a three-year member of the Malden High School wrestling team, won a letter in his Sopho- more and Junior years. Lloyd spends his spare time at the Y.M.C.A., and relaxes to records by The Righteous Brothers. He has a strong interest in Science. MARIE C. DOW 10 Grace Street General Secretary A Worker at Lechmere Sales after school, Marie returns home to listen .to her record collection, in- cluding such artists as The Su- premes and The Temptations. Dur- ing the winter months, Marie ice- skates for exercise. Her best-liked subject is Shorthand. DOREEN A. DICKIE 2 Hemenway Ave. Commercial Secretary A two-year member of Pep Club and a one-year member of Choral Art, Doreen has helped on the decorations committee for Shuf- fle, Also participating in CYO for three years, she enjoys sewing and knitting. To relax, Doreen listens to The Beach Boys. WILLIAM C. DONOVAN, JR. 30 Columbia Street General Undecided An outstanding athlete of Malden High, Dunna achieved two let- ters for his performance in hockey and baseball. During his Sopho- more year, iiDUHH3ii was the Maldonian representative from his homeroom. After school he drives for the Malden Taxi Company. SHARON L. DOWNING 14 Bow St. Commercial Legal Secretary After school and in the summer, Sharon is employed by Malden Hospital as a ward aide. In her extra time, she likes to attend football and basketball games, and participates in roller-skating and swimming. Sharon's best-liked sub- iects are Math and Shorthand.

In her Junior year, she was a Maldfmian representative, and is also a member of B'nai B'rith Girls. Musically inclined, ,Ian plays piano and guitar. ROSEMARIE DeFRANZO 48 Blantyre Rd. College Teacher Belonging to Tri-Hi for three years, Rosemarie was elected Presi- dent in her Senior year. A three- year member of Choral Art and a two-year member of Chamber Singers, she belonged to F.T.A. Enioying baseball and languages, Rosemarie favors folk music. Ist. N GLORIA J. DeSALVO 356 Ferry St. College Teacher A member of FTA for two years, Gloria's ambition is to become a teacher. Her hobbies include play- ing the guitar and sketching. She puts English and football at the top of her like list. Working at Bell's Donut Shop fills up the rest of her day. MARY J. DANCA 103 Oakland St. College Teacher Vice-President of her class, Mary is also a member of Latin Honor, and Publicity Manager of French Honor and USONA, An Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority sister, Mary is also a three-year Pep Club member, and as a Junior, she was a student council member. CHERYL S. DENNISON 90 Pierce Street College Veterinarian A three-year member of USONA, Choral Art, and Kappa Phi Soror- ity, Cheryl is also Treasurer of the Orchestra. A Pep Club and Ger- man Honor member, she also par- ticipated on the girls' basketball team as a guard, and received two Varsity letters. GREGORY P. DETERDING 80 Summer Street General History Major A past Maldonian representative, Greg was also on the student coun- cil for one year. His chief interests are travel, records. and photog- raphy. Greg was publicity co-chair- man of Shuffle, and won an Honor Roll Emblem during his Junior year. GAIL A. DANIELS 14 James Street General Undecided A two-year member of the MHS Pep Club, Gail was also an Alpha Delta Alpha sorority sister for three years. An adroit painter, she prefers Miss Carney's Art class to any other. For hours of reading pleasure, Gail chooses to read modern novels. THOMAS DeNUCCE 57 Warren Avenue General Carpenter A homeroom representative in his Sophomore year, Tom has been a member of the wrestling team for one year. His best subject in school is Health, and out of school he often fixes cars and plays football. Tom also listens to rhythm and blues records. THOMAS L. DEVEAU 100 Medford St. General Draftsman A two-year member of the Boys Club, Tom likes to travel and play golf. Tom applies the skills he learns in Mechanical Drawing to his work as an apprentice drafts- man. His outside interests center around his Honda '160' and the trophies he has won. WENDY E. DAVIDSON 36 Perkins Avenue College College A four-year member of the Band, Wendy also has belonged to Phi Delta Phi and F.T.A. She was refreshment chairman of Shuffle, and is a spectator at football, basketball, and hockey games. Wendy listens to The Beatles and goes surfing and swimming. NANCY A. DePRIEST 69 Suffolk Street General Undecided Nance has been an active member of Rainbow Girls for three years, When not attending these meet- ings, Nance is either painting pic- tures of landscapes, taking bicycle rides around Pine Banks Park and the Forestdale Area, or settling down with a good book. LORETTA M. DeVITO 68 Fairview Avenue College Psychologist Lorie is Head of Sales for the Maldonian. A past member of the Pep Club, Tri-Hi, and the tennis team, she has also served on the student council, and was ticket co- chairman of Shuffle Lorie is chiefly interested in poetry, de- bating, and English.

PENELOPE S. DOWST 64 Cushing Road College Secretary A four-year member of the Metho- dist Youth Fellowship, Penny also belongs to the Rainbow Girls. An admirer of water sports, Penny spends many hours boating. Since playing the guitar is a favorite hobby of Penny's, she is fond of folk-singer Tom Rush. STEPHEN P. DUGGAN 178 Lebanon Street Commercial College A former New England Y.M.C.A. championship diver, Steve is a member ofthe MHS Swim Team. He was Co-Chairman of Yester- day's Gone and has been a mem- ber of the student council for three years. Steve also was a mem- ber of the football team. GARY W. EISNOR 24 Blantyre Road College Minister. Gary, President of B.Y.F., spends a great deal of his leisure time collecting coins and listening to his favorite popular singing group, The Temptations. The recipient of a Junior Varsity letter in basket- ball, Gary enjoys skiing and play- ing baseball. ROBERT DUFFY 94 Rich St. General Undecided In his Sophomore year, Duff was on the Malden High School basket- ball team. Since repairing jewelry is a hobby of Duffs, he works after school at the Town and Country Jewelry Store in Malden. His out- side interests include waterskiing and car racing. DONNA M. DUPONT 178 Belmont St. Commercial Hairdresser During her Sophomore year Donna was an active member of the Pep Club. Keeping busy by swimming and bowling, Donna also likes to spend her spare hours reading romance and mystery stories. Sonny and Cher and Johnny Mathis are among her favorite singers. DONNA M. DUGAS 34 Garland Avenue General Secretary A two-year member of The Pep Club, Marty is a student helper at Malden Vocational High. Since Marty spends her summers in Canada, French is her best-liked subject. During her extra time, she listens to records by The Su- premes and The Beach Boys. PAMELA F. DURNING 49 Bishop Road General Undecided In her Junior year Pamela was a members of the Choral Art So- ciety. A former worker at the State Office Building in Boston, Pamela is employed by the Malden Telephone Company after school. Pamela also finds pleasure in listening to Bob Dylan records. GEORGE T. DUGGAN 56 Elwell Street General Mechanic An enthusiastic sports fan, George likes to play a round of golf or bowl a string. An employee at Smyly Buick, George is interested in all types of cars and also drag racing. Collecting records as a hobby, he relaxes to the music of The Temptations. PAUL R. EASON 7 Dell Street General Physical Ed. Teacher Paul, an all-around athlete, is the Captain of both the indoor and outdoor track teams.
