ANTICO 10 Webster Place College Actress A two-year member of the Cham- ber Singers and Choral Art, Cher serves as Secretary of the National Honor Society and the Greenroom Dramatic Society. Cher has been a two-year member of the Pep Club, and has been the recipient of two A.P.S.L. awards. JAMES P. ANTONANGELI 51 Mt. Vernon St. Commercial Hairdresser At Carousel and The Shuffle , Jamie dee-iayed with sounds of his favorite groups, The Righteous Brothers and The Supremes. After work at the guidance ofifice, he displays his skill fixing cars. jamie also claims to have Malden's best record collection. DENISE C. AVOLA 51 North Milton Street Commercial Secretary Denise, who has been Mr. Boyle's secretary for three consecutive years,'was also a member of the Pep Club in her Sophomore year. Besides bowling and collecting various Righteous Brothers albums in her spare time, Denise also likes to ski, swim, and type. LESLEY A. BADEN 21 Converse Avenue College Nurse A two-year member of both Latin Honor and Future Nurses, Lesley has belonged to TIFTY for one year. A member of the Band for three years, Lesley was appointed librarian and quartermaster. Dur- ing the summer months, Lesley served as a nurses' aide. EDWARD P. AYAN 56 Ashland St. Voke Electrician Taking an interest in fast cars, Eddie's favorite pastime is tinker- ing with his fifty-five Chevy. A skillful electrician, he is employed by Mercurio Electric Company. An ardent sports fan, Eddie particu- larly favors spectating Red Sox and Celtics games. RICHARD E. ARBO 71 Bainbridge St. Voke Automotive Mechanic An avid car enthusiast, Dick spends much of his time rebuilding '57 Chevrolets. When Dick is not working at Smyly Buick, he par- ticipates in his favorite sports, football and hockey. When time permits, he goes on ski excursions with the MHS Ski Club. BEVERLY M. BABCOCK 106 Daniels St. Commercial Secretary Musically-inclined Bev was a mem- ber of the Choral Art Society and the Chamber Singers. President and Secretary of the BYE, Bev was also the Secretary of her Church Drama Group. Taking part in Channel '68, she sang with the group called Just Us. KURT M. ARMSDEN 5 Nanepaphemet Ave. General U. S. Army A student of the piano for ten years, talented Kurt is also an accomplished organist. Kurt is a classical music fan and he has an excellent collection of records. A Y.M.C.A. member for two years, Kurt relaxes by lifting weights and playing ice hockey. JACOB B. BABIN 86 Judson St. Voke Sheetmetal A three-year member of the Voke basketball team, Jake has earned two letters and two trophies in this sport. Class of 1958 CHERYL A. ALLEN 41 Waverly Street General Music Teacher An accomplished singer and clari- netist, Cheryl also is a gifted seamstress who sews her own clothes. A three-year Band member, a Youth Fellowship Secretary, and a Rainbow Girl, talented Cheryl spends her after school hours working at Joseph's Card Shop. t,.s m e .-r' Q RICHARD C. ANDERSON 55 Granite St. College College A letterman on the football team for three years, Andy is a star tackle. For two years he was a shot putter on the outdoor track team. To relax from his brisk sports pace, Andy lifts weights. In the summer months, Andy spends time at the beach. ANTHONY ALESSANDRO 60 Columbia Street General College A student council representative for three years, Tony is also a two- year letterman in tennis. Tony was an usher for Channel '68 and he contributed to the success of Oz by being on the decoration committee. When not in school, he relaxes to the sound of Donovan. LINDA AMICONE 120 West St. College Secretary During the fall, Linda is a regular spectator at all the Malden High School football games. When not listening to the music of The Righteous Brothers, she likes sew- ing. She also selects Bookkeeping as one of her favorite subiects. TERRENCE W. ANGELLI 10 Hill Street Dist. Ed. Undecided Terry, who plays guitar for The Refugees of Time,,would like them to do- as well as The-Animals. He was on the decorations committee for Carousel Terry often repairs motorcycles, plays football, or studies English, which is his best subiect. FREDERICK J. ALIBERTE 9 Goodwin Ave. College Marine Biologist Rick was a member of the Sopho- more Class Council. A four-year member of the Mass. Dolphins Scuba Diving Club, he was elected Treasurer. As a bass guitarist, Rick enjoys playing folk music and the blues. After school he works at Krey's Record Shop. PATRICK J. AMOROSO 65 Plainfield Ave. College College Pat, an outstanding end, is a three- year varsity letterman for Malden High School's football, hockey, and baseball teams. Pat's favorites include Math and hockey, and he often listens to the music of The Temptations, The Beach Boys, and The Beatles. lk . ROSEMARY D. ANGILERI 156 Columbia St. Commercial Secretary An energetic supporter of the Pep Club, vivacious Rose is also a loyal member of the Euture Busi- ness Leaders of America Club. An avid sports enthusiast, Rose spends some of her free time bowling. Typing and Shorthand top the list of Rose's favorites. CONSTANCE ALKINS 22 Auburn Street Commercial Secretary A staunch supporter of the Malden High School Pep Club, Connie also is a bowling and ice skating enthusiast. After work as a Secre- tary at the Fireman's Fund Insur- ance Company in Boston, Connie relaxes to the soothing music of The Mamas and the Papas. ALMA H. ANDERSON 111 Mills St. College Stewardess Head of the Maldonian Subscrip- tion Staff, Alma was also a mem- ber of the Student Council. She danced to Mame in Channel '68 , and helped with decorations for Carousel and Nedlam Knockout. Alma also finds time to cheer our Voke Boys to victory. FRANK W. ANNETTI 39 Madison Street General Accountant A member of the Immaculate Con- ception Reveries, a drum and bugle corps, Frankie also belongs to the Catholic Youth Organiza- tion and the Y.M.C.A. Frankie, a sports enthusiast, enjoys playing golf. He also has an excellent col- lection of stamps and coins.

PAMELA L. BAILEY 50 Vernon St. Commercial Bookkeeper As a member of the MHS Pep Club in her Sophomore year, Pam was a faithful supporter of the football team. Her varied hobbies include cooking, sewing, bowling, and miniature golf. After school, Pam is employed by the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. FAITH A. BATES 1 Glenwood Street Commercial Housewife Faith, who served as a library assistant for one year, chooses English and Math as her best subiects. A collector of post cards, she often listens to The Three Degrees. In the summer, Faith goes swimming and sailing, and also plays kickball and badminton. JANICE S. BERMAN 30 Starbird St. College Teacher A faithful member of F.T.A. for two years, Jan holds the ofhce of Senior Executive board member in the Phi Delta Phi Sorority. A former Malden High School Band member, Jan was also in the MacDowell Girls' Concert Choir and Greenroom for one year. KATHLEEN E. BARRETT 100 Highland Ave. Commercial Stewardess A three-year representative for Maldonian, Kathy also was a mem- ber of the Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority for three years. An honor student, Kathy served on the decoration committees for Carou- sel and Noel , Kathy also was a candy girl for Channel '68 . 'Eli GAIL BEHAN 12 Fairmont St. Commercial Secretary A member of CYO, Gail's other outside activities include swim- ming, tennis, and skiing. She also spends many hours listening to The Beach Boys, The Temptations, and The Four Tops. In school, Gail's best subjects are English, Shorthand, and Typing. WAYNE D. BERTHEL 30 Division Street College U. S. Air Force A three-year member of the Malden DeMolay, Buzz also served as Senior Deacon. Much of Buzz's free time is occupied by water- skiing and playing baseball and basketball. When this athletic pace is too much, Buzz relaxes to the music of The Beach Boys. CHERYL J. BARRIS 17 Wigglesworth St. Commercial Secretary A two-year member of the ski club, Cheryl won a field hockey award for her outstanding ability in this sport. A former Pep Club member, Cheryl belongs to Alpha Delta Alpha Sorority. A par- ticipant in Channel '68, Cheryl is also a member of F.B.L.A, SUZANNE V. BELANGER 45 Seery St. College Teacher A Greenroom member for three years and a two-year member of the French Honor Society, Sue was a co-chairman of Oz. Sue also served on the Student Welfare Committee, and she was a delegate to the 1967 Oddfellows United Nations Pilgrimage of Youth. VINCENT P. BETTANO 140 Lyme Street College Sports Cartoonist As a guard, Vinny contributed to the Sacred Hearts CYO basketball team. His hobbies include drawing cartoons and portraits, and play- ing baseball. Vinny also listens to his large record collection of The Beach Boys, his favorite rock and roll group. JANICE BARTHELMESS 36 Julia Street General Hairdresser When not working at the Malden Hospital, ,Ian spends a great deal of her leisure time either skating, swimming, skiing, or surfing. Ranking high as her favorite popu- lar singing groups are The Mon- kees, The Mamas and The Papas, and The Righteous Brothers. MICHAEL E. BERLAN 129 Harvard St. General Accountant Mike is an expert golfer, and plays both baseball and basketball. His other outside activities include coin and stamp collecting, and working on cars. Mike listens to the recordings of Little Anthony and the Imperials, and his best subject is Math. GEOFFREY BLOMERTH 12 Clarence Terrace College Undecided A three-year member of COG and of French Honor, Jeff has also belonged to Latin Honor and the rifie team for two years. He was a two-year A.P.S.L. winner and a Blue and Gold representative. ,leif has been a member of the Chess Club for one year.
