Assistant Band Director Our Music Department increased its staff this year with the addition of three new members: Mrs. Anita Morrison, Mr. Edward Myers, and Mr. Charles Turpening. Headed by Dr. Herbert Silverman, the department tried to bring to the entire student body great music of every kind, to suit all tastes. Mrs. Mary Carney expresses the goals of the Art Department by telling her students to wisely invest in beauty, while Mr. Francis Martin, head of the Industrial Arts Department, states that, doing the most for the individual is the aim of every teacher in his department.
