After more than two hundred days of laboring, the Maldonian staff, under its efficient adviser, Miss Mary E. Heald, has produced a book worthy of any publisher's name. Unfortunately, sufficient credit has not been given to the adviser. So roll the cameras over to Room 219 where we can catch a glimpse of her Hne work. It is she who controls the active groups, first and sixth periods every day of the week. It was she who so liberally chaperoned the staff at the C.S.P.A. National Convention at Columbia University in New York. It is shc who restrains us from buying expensive cuts and tells us about ways of saving money on picture layouts. It is she who has the final say on copy and pictures to be used. With her aid, the .Maldonian has reached a standard which is expected to win a Medalist rating as it has for several years, Oh! Oh! the picture is getting fuzzy and has now faded away, but not before we have had the op- portunity to see and appreciate the efforts of an adviser who has received the distinction of being awarded the gold key presented to the eountry's outstanding advisers by the Columbia Press Association. Miss Heald, on call every hrst and sixth period, helps a ineinber of the literary stafl' plan a diflicnlt layout for the l95fl AIIIIIIUVIIIIIYI. ,Ps THANKS FOR cry thct Prld xy lm lvision nc r is r v X1 lldtn High studc nts 1 igfrlx rc lding thclr school p xptr but only a few rt ilm how mum h work Nfflss lribblt htrst lf 217 and str for ourstlus how impoitint hcr position IS Since shc his chirgc of tht planning ind ruising ucrx issuc is in hcr hands both btfort isslgnmcnts are mxde and again after the prellminirx work 1 finished During hir thru xc :rs is idviser to Ihr Blur and Gold her untiring efforts hut bun well rcwirdcd for thc paper has rccuxed thru first place rxtmgs from the YOUR GUIDANCE ming ll h ti puio iss liiluhlt confers with the editors of Ihr Blue mm' C0111 to pxtparr 'i signnn nts for th: connnq issue o umbi i P14 ss ss0Ll lIl0Il d t 1 1 so c hoscn IN tht bc st Nc w P ngl ind stl100l p xpcr by tht Boston Globe thc task of idxlstr to this public IIIOII rtquircs pcrsevcr incc patience and ibilitx Miss 'Iribblc hi willingly contributtd mort th in hir shirt to tht success of her charge ind now hc dtscrus 1 wcll c irncd rest Vliss Tribble wc w int to show our xppruxmon for giving us a first class paper I'o ont who receives so little rccogni tion for a Job so well dom wc ofiftr our heartfelt thanks' ave' -- - 'VL' - L ..- 05 XX. ,' Ref 'ff- .Ki I ' f , n tl- 'fl a, Mfr .Q xy ' ' 1 4- 1 s .S- .
