CLASS PROPHECY Beverly Hills, California Dear Anne: I just read in the papers that you had again been selected as The Best Dressed Career Woman of 1967, so I just couldn't resist the chance to write and congratulate you. Remember all the good times we had at MHSI Quite a few of our classmates have made names for them- selves. Why, just last night as I sat on the side porch of my four story mansion here In Beverly Hills, who do you think I saw on television, Barbara Bryant who replaced Polly Bergan, as the Pepsl Cola Girl. That was followed by Denver Paul singing his newest clypso arrangement of 'Make Like The Wind And Blow. Anad- vertisment followed and what do you think it was about? Why, Gloat Shoe Polish, of course, invented by none other than James Summitt. I read in VARIETY, that Virgil Harris and his combo, starring Bob Kirkbride as sax soloist, plus the Kinder Trio, Jane, Dorthy, and Imogene, are appearing at Commies Corner in Stallngrad, Russia. They just re - tumed from a tour of the salt mines. Have you tried Charles McDonald 's new cigarette Filto approved by the Medical Association, headed by Dewayne Shelton. Charles' Invention has proved to be all filter and no tobacco. As l was walking down Sunset and Vine who do you think I saw? None other than Jim Watson standing beside his new car, the Tin Lizzie. He manufactures them you know. William Ball is his chief mechanic and his test driver ls Robert Hall. Continuing my walk, I spoted Jurea Thompson and Betty Daniels who are the star players on the Arkansas Travelers basketball team. I also saw our old friend Mered1thQGood Buddy, Price, now the largest Vodka manu- facturer in the world, who informed me Quinton Rhodes won the National Freckle Contest. Nancee Tolleson has opened her new fashion salon here in Beverly Hills. She designs all the dresses. You knew she married Larry Wagster right after he won the National Golf Championship--The Spoonerville Masters. I just finished reading that wonderful new book published by Janet Rogers and Pat Turner, We Flew With The Air Force. Did you know Larry Ford is a test Pilot for Hix Air Craft Company owned by Bobby Hlxt I really must close for now and watch that delightful Lawrence Dowdy who emcees the quiz program Do You Beat Your Wife? By the way Kenneth Crawford edits the questions for Lawrence's show. Sincerely yours, Carole Plllow
