Miss Anna Boss of Logan High was the judge. Good competition. MAR. l0.-Special assembly. Baldy Strang in person. Boys from student body attempted to blow the bag- pipes but succeeded poorly. Yelling contest held between classes. juniors were winners. School self-chosen holiday. Yells and songs were given thru town led by Baldy Strang. Acrobatic stunts were furnished on each corner by students. ln the afternoon the students were entertained by Baldy Strang and Co. Pep rally held in eve- ning and Gym Club Program for parents at theatre. MAR. ll.-Gym Bond defeated! Poor old Malad! MAR. 13.-Special assembly for declam readings. High school operetta at night . MAR. l4.-Hurray!! No School!! Sub-district contest was held at Malad. MAR. 28.-Ag. Bawl was held. Decided success. Everyone had excellent time. APR. 4.-junior Prom. Who would have thot that the juniors could stage such an affair? MAY I9-23.-Exam Week!!!! First call for football men. .- Zf.-Game with Box Elder. Man! What a licking we got. 4.-Another football game. Aberdeen gave it to us, not bad tho. Hope is rising. 18.--Game at Malad. Good and peppy. Burley not half bad. 24.-Football walk away at Downey! ! l.-Trip to ldaho Falls for game. johnny made the surprising rate of I5 miles per hour. We took our defeat O. K. 7.--Big Bonfire at school. Boys and coach talked to students. 12-13.-Faculty play. Students saw faculty robbed of dignity. 30.-Christmas Party and Santa Claus. I3-l4-School Play. One cast presented it one night and the other cast the second night. Zl.-Colonial Ball. Colonial costumes scarce but prizes awarded nevertheless 26.-Members of winning cast took play to Preston -successful presentation. 28.-School play at Bear River. Afternoon pre- sentation, but entirely successful. Bear River play j0nsey in Malad at night. MAR. 3.-First day of Parents' Week. Track well under way. MAR. 4.-Preliminary Gym singing contest. MAR. 6.-Final contest. The seniors won beyond a doubt. Professor Powell was the able judge. l950
