Science Malad lligh School may be proud indeed ol' its science departments and the teachers at the head ot' the classes. Having a woman teacher for chemistry and biology is something unusual, and we found that she was perfectly capable of undertaking such a dillicult task. Mr. Gilchrist and Mr. Chadburn have shown their ability also as physics and general science teachers respectively. Thev have done some commendable work indeed. Taken as a group, they should be con- gratulated on their line work. The chemistry department of Malad lligh School has forty-four pupils en- rolled. The laboratory is well equipped. Last fall the laboratory was well sup- plied with all the materials that were necessary for the students use. Some of the students are doing excellent work, The biology department is not so well equipped, but we hope that it will soon be the best department of all. There are forty students enrolled. Miss Alma Orr is the head ol' these two departments. She states that both are doing good work. Physics is being taught by Mr. Robert Gilchrist. Ile has twenty-six pupils in his class. The laboratory is very well equipped. Each year more material is being added. The most interesting thing there, is a complete model ol' a steam engine. Some ol' the students are doing excellent work.
