3407112 Sailing gently in the swelling breeze comes the proud ship Buccaneer, heavily laden with the great treasures of life. Not by chance, but by hard unceasing work have we filled our treasure chests with the gold of knowledge. We have sought and we have found. A great many times in the past the name Buccaneer has been linked with brave deeds. Great was his lust for adventure and gold, but beneath this covering of fierceness came forth the true Buccaneer. We are proud of our title, Buccaneer. The Buccaneer was the most spectacular figure of his century. Thrilling tales of romance and adventure have been woven about his deeds. So, we too have strange and thrilling things happen to us in the turmoil and confusion of our time. The Buccaneers of '44 are setting their course away from safety and security into the unknowns which face them in their journey of life. May each of us travel the pathway of happiness and success, and leave his footsteps in the sands of time. So hail to the Buccaneerl Long may his light shine in the dark uncertainties of the future. i DICK MILLER
