Orchesis, Aquiana Synchronize Lights! Lights! Sounds! Dance! was the catchy theme for this year's Orchesis show which was presented on April 16, 17. The show featured many different styles of music. Orchesis also danced in V-Show to songs from the film Main Event and the play Annie. To polish their performances, Orchesis mem- bers met every Monday. At meet- ings they learned new dances and technique. The club also sponsored fund raisers. One of the fund raisers was a candy sale to raise money for costumes and other perfor- mance expenses. Freshman bowler Dan Mustari was the high roller for the first se mester with a high game of 224. Other high games were thrown by Bob Rodgers, 211, Amy Glass, 178, and Barb Bonilla, 136. The bowling club bowled each week at Sim's Lanes. Bob Rodgers and Amy Glass had high averages, 173 for Bob and 133 for Amy. The show consisted of individual and group interpretation of music. Aquiana also participated in syn- chronized swimming competitions against other schools. ln these com- petitions some of the more exper- ienced members performed, figures such as the Swordwalk and the Catalina .
