They learn the many different types of music which they may be called upon to play in their years with the band. The Beginning Band plays at several concerts during the year. INTERMEDIATE AND CADET BANDS Incoming freshmen and transfer students may enroll in Intermediate Band. In this group they receive preparation for Cadet Band, a more ad- vanced group v hich plays for band concerts, football games, and parades. Cadet Band then prepares students for Concert Band.
