Mr. Hoff l jjonsor STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council strives to form a better relationship between administration and students. Members are elected by the student body and serve for a year. The Council sponsors many school activities including V-Show, memory record, Dial Tone, Homecoming, and others. This year the Council sponsored an AFS week to raise funds to sponsor a foreign exchange student next year. They also helped sponsor this year ' s foreign ex- change student. All students are urged to take an active part in Student Council activities to promote better student government. Music GIRLS ' GLEE CLUB The Girls ' Glee Club is one of the advanced choral groups. It is open to girls who have had some previous training and gives them the train- ing to become a member of the A Cappella Choir. A CAPPELLA CHOIR The A Cappella Choir is the most advanced singing group at Maine West. Members are cho- sen from the other choral groups on the basis of their ability.
