These students promote good will and sportsmanship throughout the school and community. Students on the Frosh-Soph debate team par- ticipate in inter- and intra-school debates. Through this they gain valuable experience to enable them DEBATE TEAMS to join the Varsity debate team. Any student interested in learning the art of debate may join the team. The Varsity debaters represent Maine West at various meets and tournaments. They must stay informed about all current events and issues to be prepared for the debates in which they par- ticipate.
