AQUIANA In order to obtain membership in Aquiana Swim Club, a girl must pass an aquatic test which includes not only swimming but also diving and water stunts. Any girl is eligible to take the test, but only the finest swimmers pass; these in turn are permitted to compete in an ad- vanced skill test, successful completion of which merits honorary membership and a special award. The yearly water show, highlight of the season, enables the girls to show off their talents. 98
