P.E. leaders prove valuable Being a Junior or Senior Leader in South's Physical Education classes had many beneficial advantages for the chosen girls. Through a variety of activities, juniors learned basic skills during one period and assisted with a P.E. class another time the same day. As a Senior Leader, each girl worked closely with the teacher and members of the class. Along with the valuable experiences col- lected as a P.E. Leader was the development of responsibility within each girl. Demonstrating skills, giving helpful suggestions, running the class, and getting help in an emergency were among the tasks that built self confidence and responsi- bility into each one of Miss Pierce's Junior and Senior Leaders.
